Omaha Child Care License Revoked
Lincoln—The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, has revoked the license of a child care provider in an emergency order issued last week.
Michelle Hayes, 6016 Whitmore Street, Omaha, can’t provide care for any children other than her own.
She may request a hearing within 15 days of the receipt of the emergency revocation order and will be afforded a hearing within 10 days of the request, unless a continuance is granted.
An emergency revocation order is issued whenever the Department finds that an emergency exists requiring immediate action to protect the physical well-being and safety of a child in a child care program.
