Department of Health and Human Services to Hold Hearings February 3 on Proposed Regulations
Lincoln –The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is holding hearings on Thursday, February 3, in the Nebraska State Office Building, 301 Centennial Mall South, Lower Level, Conference Room A, in Lincoln.
Public Hearing at 10:00 a.m. CT
The Division of Public Health is holding this hearing to accept comments on proposed changes to regulations regarding the Statewide Trauma System. The proposed changes set out requirements for communications, transfer and referral, and for application, on-site review and designation. The proposed regulations would also provide a trauma centers criteria chart, standards for designation of specialty trauma centers, and reporting and inclusion criteria for the trauma registry.

The Division of Public Health is holding this hearing to accept comments on proposed changes to regulations for the licensure of centers for persons with developmental disabilities. The proposed changes will implement the Health Care Facility Licensure Act by establishing licensure requirements and procedures, such as inspections, standards of operation, physical plant and other requirements, as well as grounds for discipline.
Anyone may attend and comment at the hearings or submit comments in writing. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT February 5 and should be sent to DHHS Legal Services, 301 Centennial Mall South, P.O.
