Members Sought for Health Boards

Lincoln—The State Board of Health is seeking members of certain professions to serve on professional boards that are responsible for granting license privileges to health care providers. Professionals are needed to serve on the following boards:

  • Board of Athletic Training
  • Board of Massage Therapy
  • Board of Medical Nutrition Therapy
  • Board of Podiatry
  • Board of Respiratory Care

Professionals who are actively engaged in the practice of any of the above professions will be appointed to fill vacancies on the boards.

Additional information on board vacancies can be found on the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services website. Persons interested in serving on a board can obtain an application and documents related to the appointment process at http://www.dhhs.ne.gov/publichealth/Pages/crl_board_vacancies.aspx.
