Members Sought for Health Boards
Lincoln—The State Board of Health is seeking members of certain professions to serve on various professional boards and one committee that are responsible for granting license privileges to health care providers. Professionals are needed to serve on the following boards:
Board of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses
Board of Dentistry—dentist and dental school faculty member
Board of Medicine and Surgery
Board of Nursing—baccalaureate nurse educator, practical nurse, and staff nurse members
Board of Nursing Home Administration—proprietary home member
Board of Pharmacy
Perfusionist Committee
Professionals who are actively engaged in the practice of any of the above professions will be appointed to fill vacancies on the boards.
Additional vacancies are listed on the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services website. Persons interested in serving on a board can obtain an application and documents related to the appointment process at http://www.dhhs.ne.gov/publichealth/Pages/crl_board_vacancies.aspx.
