Department of Health and Human Services to Hold Hearings December 23
Lincoln –The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is holding hearings on Thursday, December 23, in the Nebraska State Office Building, 301 Centennial Mall South, Lower Level, Conference Room A, in Lincoln.
Public Hearing at 9:00 a.m. CT
The Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care is holding this hearing to accept comments on proposed changes to regulations to Medicaid. The proposed changes provide that, for Medicaid recipients who have long-term care insurance, claims will be paid in a certain order after payment has been made of the specific services covered by the policy.

The Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care is holding this hearing to accept comments on proposed new regulations for Medicaid. The proposed changes will establish Nebraska’s medical home pilot program. A medical home is one in which a patient establishes an ongoing relationship with a physician in a physician-directed team for primary and preventive care and coordinates the patient’s needs across the health care system.
Anyone may attend and comment at the hearings or submit comments in writing. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT December 27 and should be sent to DHHS Regulatory Analysis and Integration, 301 Centennial Mall South, P.O.
