Public Members Sought for Health Boards
Lincoln—The State Board of Health is seeking members of the public to serve on seven professional boards that are responsible for granting license privileges to health care providers. Public representatives are needed to serve on the following boards:
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Cosmetology, Electrology, Esthetics, Nail Technology and Body Art
- Funeral Directing and Embalming
- Hearing Instrument Specialists
- Medical Nutrition Therapy
- Nursing Home Administration
- Occupational Therapy Practice
Individuals who can represent a consumer perspective and are not licensed in the particular areas that the board serves will be appointed to fill public member vacancies.
Persons interested in serving on a board can obtain an application and documents related to the appointment process at http://www.dhhs.ne.gov/publichealth/Pages/crl_board_vacancies.aspx.
