DHHS to Hold Hearing October 15, 2009 in Lincoln
Children’s Health Insurance
Lincoln – The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care is holding a public hearing October 15, 2009. The hearing will take place in Lincoln at the State Office Building, at 10:00 a.m. (CT), 301 Centennial Mall South, Conference Room ‘LLA.’
Regulations to implement the increase in income levels for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) to 200% of the federal poverty level were considered at a public hearing on August 27, 2009. This proposed revision makes the same change to another regulation.
Anyone may attend and comment at the hearings or submit comments in writing. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT, October 17, 2009.
