Emergency Order Issued to Omaha Child Care Provider

Lincoln—The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has issued an emergency order immediately revoking the license of an Omaha child care provider.

Chekela Whitcomb, 3930 Himebaugh Ave., must cease providing care to any children.

The order was effective October 2.

Emergency orders are issued when necessary to protect the immediate physical well-being and safety of a child in a child care program.
