Emergency Order Issued to Omaha Child Care Providers

Lincoln—The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has issued an emergency order immediately suspending the licenses of two Omaha child care providers.

Earline Swift, doing business as Classic Daycare, 3449 Martin Avenue, and Earline Swift and Misteree Davis, doing business as Fruit of the Spirit Center, 5444 N. 42 nd Street, must cease providing care to any children.

The order found that an emergency exists requiring immediate action to protect the physical well-being and safety of children in their care. The order was effective February 6.
