DHHS to Hold Hearing on Medicaid December 17, 2009 in Lincoln
Lincoln – The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care is holding this hearing to accept comments on proposed revisions to regulations for Medicaid payment for services provided by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs). The proposed regulations will implement a prospective payment system for FQHCs and RHCs as required by Section 1902(bb) of the Social Security Act.
Proposed regulations governing payment provisions for FQHCs and RHCs were previously considered at public hearing on October 1, 2009, and have been revised.
Anyone may attend and comment at the hearings or submit comments in writing. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT, December 19, 2009.
