Members Sought for Health Boards
Lincoln—The State Board of Health is seeking three members of the public and of certain professions to serve on two professional boards that are responsible for granting license privileges to health care providers. Public representatives or professionals are needed to serve on the following boards:
- Board of Alcohol and Drug Counseling: Alcohol and Drug Counselor and member of the public
- Board of Nursing Home Administration: Registered Nurse
Professionals who are actively engaged in the practice of any of the above professions will be appointed to fill vacancies on the boards. Individuals who can represent a consumer perspective and are not licensed in the particular areas that the board serves will be appointed to fill the public member vacancies.
