Emergency Order Issued to Grand Island Child Care Provider

Lincoln—The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has issued an emergency order immediately suspending the license of a Grand Island child care provider.

Michele Schomer, 2323 Bellwood Drive, No. 209, Grand Island, must cease providing care to any children.

The order was effective October 31.

Emergency orders are issued when necessary to protect the immediate physical well-being and safety of a child in a child care program.
