DHHS Terminates Developmental Disabilities Rulemaking Proceedings
Lincoln – The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Developmental Disabilities, is terminating rulemaking proceedings for proposed new regulations for developmental disability services. These proposed regulations were considered at a public hearing on November 16, 2006.
The proposed regulations would have consolidated existing regulations for the Health and Human Services System to govern all aspects of community-based services provided to persons with developmental disabilities, including: regulations for the Developmental Disabilities System; Medicaid home and community-based waivers; and licensing Centers for Persons with Developmental Disabilities.
