Child Care Licenses Revoked
Lincoln—The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services recently revoked the licenses of the following child care providers:
- Katie Wragge, 210 S. Pleasant Street, Pierce (failure to pay fees)
- Marie Barber doing business as The Toy House Learning Center, 3169 Ames Ave., Omaha (emergency order for suspension previously issued)
- Shirley Mitchell, 2129 Evans Street, Omaha (failure to pay fees)
- Carla McKinney dba Country Good Development Home, 540 W. Keating Circle, Lincoln (emergency order for suspension previously issued)
- Tina Grundmann, 5101 W. McGuire Road, Lincoln
- Victoria Garcia, 2212 Whitted Drive, Omaha (emergency order for suspension previously issued)
- Heidi Shumaker, 1721 High Street, Beatrice
- Caroline Grandy, 5503 North 69 th Street, Omaha (failure to pay fees)
Individuals whose licenses to provide child care are revoked, other than for failure to pay a fee, may not operate a child care program for any children and they are not eligible to reapply for a child care license for a period of two years. Those whose licenses are revoked for failure to pay a fee may reapply for a license but must begin again at a provisional level.
