Emergency Order Issued to Omaha Child Care Provider
LINCOLN, NE - This evening the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services issued an emergency order closing an Omaha child care provider's business.
Joquana Goynes, doing business as Klassy Kidz Corner LLC, 5001 Leavenworth ST, Omaha, NE 68106, cannot provide care for any children other than her own.
Goynes may request a hearing within 15 days of receiving the emergency order. The hearing is held within 10 days of the request, unless a continuance is granted.
Officials are in the process of notifying parents of the children enrolled at this child care provider of the situation.
An emergency order is issued whenever the Department finds that an emergency exists requiring immediate action to protect the physical well-being and safety of a child or children in a child care program.
