DHHS Hearing on Regulations Related to Indian Health Service Facilities on January 20
Lincoln— The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will hold a public hearing January 20 on proposed changes to regulations related to Nebraska Medicaid Program services at 1:30 p.m.
The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Nebraska Administrative Code Title 471, Nebraska Medicaid Program. The Department of Health and Human Services recently completed a rewrite of several chapters governing the Indian Health Services provided under Nebraska’s Medicaid Program, including identifying insufficient or inconsistent language, restructuring the regulatory chapters, and performing a compliance review to determine uniformity with the Medicaid State Plan, other Nebraska Administrative Code chapters, federal law, and best practices.
The hearing will be held on Friday, January 20, at 1:30 p.m. CT, at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln, 301 Centennial Mall South, lower level conference room A.
Interested persons are invited to submit written comments or to attend and comment at the hearing. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT the day of the hearing, and should be emailed to DHHS.Regulations@nebraska.gov, faxed to 402-742-2382, or sent to DHHS Legal Services, 301 Centennial Mall South, P.O.
