DHHS Hearing on Medicaid Regulations Related to Chiropractic Services on April 21
Lincoln – The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will hold a public hearing April 21 on proposed changes to regulations related to chiropractic services under the Nebraska Medical Assistance Program.
The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Nebraska Administrative Code Title 471 that govern the chiropractic services provided under Nebraska’s Medicaid Program. The revisions clarify language, restructure the regulatory chapters, and perform a compliance review to determine uniformity with the Medicaid state plan, other NAC chapters, federal law, and best practices.
The hearing will be held on Friday, April 21, at 2:00 p.m. CDT, at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln, 301 Centennial Mall South, lower level conference room C.
Interested persons are invited to submit written comments or to attend and comment at the hearing. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT the day of the hearing, and should be emailed to DHHS.Regulations@nebraska.gov
