DHHS Hearings on Regulations Related to Podiatry Services and Visual Care Services August 1

Lincoln—The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will hold public hearings August 1 on proposed changes to regulations related to Nebraska’s Medicaid Program including changes that govern Podiatry Services and Visual Care Services.
 
Public Hearing at 9:00 a.m. CDT

This hearing is being held to accept comments on proposed changes to Medicaid regulations related to podiatry services. The proposal restructures the regulations; identifies insufficient or inconsistent language; and ensures uniformity with the Medicaid State Plan, other Nebraska Administrative Code chapters, federal law, and best practices.

The hearing will be held on Monday, August 1, at 9:00 a.m. CDT, at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln, 301 Centennial Mall South, lower level conference room A.

This hearing is being held to accept comments on proposed changes to Medicaid regulations related to Visual Care services. The proposal restructures the regulations; identifies insufficient or inconsistent language; and ensures uniformity with the Medicaid State Plan, other Nebraska Administrative Code chapters, federal law, and best practices.

The hearing will be held on Monday, August 1, at 1:30 p.m. CDT, at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln, 301 Centennial Mall South, lower level conference room A.

Interested persons are invited to submit written comments or to attend and comment at the hearing. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CDT the day of the hearing, and should be emailed to DHHS.Regulations@nebraska.gov, faxed to 402-742-2382, or sent to DHHS Legal Services, 301 Centennial Mall South, P.O. Box 95026, Lincoln, NE 68509-5026.
