Nebraska Behavioral Health Conference – “Success, Resiliency, Recovery”
Lincoln— The 2017 Annual Nebraska Behavioral Health Conference: “Success, Resiliency, Recovery” will take place April 11-13 at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. It is open to the public, and the registration cost is $55 for all attendees. Attendees can receive up to 16 continuing education credits for attending the conference.
A behavioral needs assessment conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Division of Behavioral Health in 2016 influenced topics, including best practices in addressing underage drinking, consumer community building, systems of care, overcoming stigma from serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
The conference is designed for a wide range of attendees, including:
• Individuals and family members
• Educators, advocates and legal professionals
• Peer support specialists and health and behavioral health providers
