The Nebraska Social Services Block Grant Plan provides services to low-income people. Services are intended to enable individuals to be as self-sufficient as possible. What services are provided? Services that may be provided by the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) for the elderly and adults with disabilities include: Chore Services, Adult Day Services, Training,* Home Delivered Meals and Congregate Meals, Respite Care, Transportation,* and Adult Family Homes. *These services are also available for children and families.
