The Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) staff seeks to ensure children are safe, achieve permanency, experience success and have their needs met. DCFS understands there may be times when the youth, legal parent(s), legal guardian(s), legal custodian(s), or foster parent(s) may have concerns that are not able to be resolved by their worker or supervisor.

Family Advocacy
Helping families navigate resources and mediate cases.

This process is open to families who are currently involved with the Nebraska DHHS - Division of Children and Family Services, either in an Initial Assessment or Ongoing Services Case (both court- and non-court involved). This process does not address issues involving finalized guardianships or adoptions.

Prior to submitting this grievance, try to resolve the concern by talking with the assigned CFS Specialist and the CFS Specialist's Supervisor.

If you have already tried to resolve your concerns through the supervisor but continue to be dissatisfied with the outcome, please fill out this form completely:
