DHHS ‘Drive Through’ Job Fair April 22 to Provide Information on Job Openings
Omaha – For persons wanting information about job openings in Omaha at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), it will be as easy as driving through a parking lot and never leaving their car on Tuesday (4/22) from 3:30-6 p.m. at 1215 So. 42nd St., according to Valerie Hankins, DHHS human resources manager.
What DHHS calls a Drive-Thru Job Fair has been well received in the past and an effective way to find employees, Hankins said. Openings in Children and Family Services, Developmental Disabilities, Medicaid and Long-Term Planning, and Economic Assistance are available, as well as support staff positions, she said.
Employees at two stations will hand information to interested persons who enter the parking lot on 42nd St. and will then exit on Pacific St.
In addition, those desiring to apply for jobs may park and complete an application onsite.
Representatives also will be available to answer questions, she said.
