Child Care License Revoked

Lincoln—The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, has revoked the license of an Omaha child care provider in an emergency order issued last week.

Danielle Phelps, 6032 Binney in Omaha, can’t provide care for any children other than her own. Phelps may request a hearing within 15 days of the receipt of the emergency revocation order and afforded a hearing within 10 days of the request, unless a continuance is granted.

The parents of children enrolled in this child care program have been notified of this action.

An emergency revocation order is issued whenever the Department finds that an emergency exists requiring immediate action to protect the physical well-being and safety of a child in a child care program.
