Survey Will Give Feedback about Community Behavioral Health Services
Lincoln – A survey of individuals receiving mental health, substance abuse and problem gambling services will begin next month, according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
About 6,800 consumers have been selected to be surveyed from approximately 18,400 individuals served in 2012 by community services funded by the Division.
“Feedback from consumers is important to the Division of Behavioral Health,” said Scot L. Adams, director. “It provides us with important information about access, quality, participation and general satisfaction with services, as well as suggestions for improvements.”
Information obtained from respondents to the survey will be kept confidential. No one will be asked for personal information, like name or social security number.
The Division of Behavioral Health contracts with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Public Health to do the survey. If you have questions about this year’s consumer survey, please call 1-888-866-7354.
The results of the survey will be available in November.
