Department of Health and Human Services to Hold Hearing June 14 on Proposed Regulations on Electronic Payments and Water Wells
Lincoln –The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is holding two hearings on proposed regulations on Thursday, June 14, in the Nebraska State Office Building, 301 Centennial Mall South, in Lincoln.
10:00 a.m. CT in Conference Room LL-F
The Division of Children and Family Services is holding this hearing to accept comments on proposed changes to regulations related to payment to clients for DHHS assistance programs. The proposed changes will provide for payments to clients by electronic means rather than paper warrants.
1:30 p.m. CT in Conference Room LL-D
The Division of Public Health is holding this hearing to accept comments on proposed changes to regulations for water well registration fees. The proposed changes reduce the fee for registering water wells that pump 50 gallons per minute.
Anyone may attend and comment at the hearing or submit comments in writing. Written comments will be given the same consideration as oral comments. Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT on June 16 and should be sent to DHHS Legal Services, 301 Centennial Mall South, P.O.
