Department of Health and Human Services to Hold Hearing August 2 on Proposed Regulations On Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities
 
Lincoln –The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care is holding a hearing on proposed changes to regulations related to inpatient services in psychiatric residential treatment facilities.  The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, August 2, in the Nebraska State Office Building, 301 Centennial Mall South, in Lincoln, conference room Lower Level A.
 
The proposed regulations provide that Medicaid will pay for these inpatient services only for individuals under age 19.  They also revise requirements for direct care staff.
 
Anyone may attend and comment at the hearings or submit comments in writing.  Written comments will be given the same consideration as oral comments.  Written comments must be postmarked or received by 5:00 p.m. CT on August 4 and should be sent to DHHS Legal Services, 301 Centennial Mall South, P.O.
