Department of Health and Human Services to Hold Hearing August 23 on Proposed Changes to Regulations for Child Care Homes, Centers and Preschools
Lincoln –The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health is holding a hearing on proposed changes to regulations for the licensing of Family Child Care Homes I and II, child care centers, school-age-only child care centers and preschools.  The hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, August 23, in the Executive Building, 521 South 14th Street, Suite 103 in Lincoln.
In addition to the public hearing site in Lincoln, the hearing will be broadcast to the following video conference sites:

This is a second public hearing on these regulations.  The first hearing was held August 25, 2011.  The regulations have been revised in response to comments received at that hearing.
