Racial ethnic minorities experience health disparities.  Using best practices and collaborating at the community and regional level bring multiple resources together to address the needs of racial ethnic minorities, American Indians, refugees and immigrants.  Raising awareness of disparities and health equity is accomplished through data, reports, and training, which also influences health outcomes.

NOTICE:  The Office of Health Disparities and Health Equity is currently working on enhancing the Minority Health Initiative Program.  As a result of this work, the new RFA for the next project period is expected to be released in late summer 2019. Please be sure to sign up for our list serve to be notified when the RFA is posted.  dhhs.minorityhealth@nebraska.gov
