The Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services Waiver Appendix K amendments were approved by CMS on April 20, 2020. These are in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and outline temporary changes to the service delivery system. Additional guidance related to these submissions will be shared when available.
Previously, the Developmental Disabilities Waivers and Aged & Disabled Waivers were holding separate COVID-19 weekly stakeholder calls. DHHS is going to merge these two meetings and change the frequency to every other week. At these meetings, the DHHS will provide updates as to what is occurring at the State level as well as a chance to share questions. Meetings are scheduled through July at this time. DHHS will assess the length and frequency of these meetings every other week to determine if changes are needed.
The calls on these dates will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 PM central:
May 18, 2020
June 1, 2020
June 15, 2020
