DHHS has contracted with Saint Francis Ministries to assume case management services currently being performed by PromiseShip (formerly Nebraska Families Collaborative) in Douglas and Sarpy counties, DHHS' Eastern Service Area (ESA). The new contract takes effect January 1, 2020.

Saint Francis Ministries is a child and family services agency currently serving over 31,000 people with services in seven states, including Nebraska, where it provides kinship/foster care homes, family support programs and other child welfare services in the Central and Western Service Areas.

The switch to the new case management service provider includes a well-defined process that focuses on enacting a smooth transition with no disruption of services or support for families.
