The Nebraska Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) is a unique statewide tool that collects dispensed prescription medication information and is housed on the Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform. The Nebraska PDMP is a public health model focusing on patient safety.

The Nebraska PDMP qualifies as a specialized registry.  For further assistance regarding specialized registries and/or meaningful use, please contact Felicia Quintana-Zinn at (402) 471-3489.

Starting January 1, 2018, all dispensed prescriptions are reported to the PDMP. The PDMP stores this information in a secure database and makes it available to healthcare professionals as authorized by law.

Pharmacies and dispensers who need to connect to upload dispensed prescription information to the Nebraska PDMP need to complete the PDMP Dispenser Uploader Form.

For questions or further assistance regarding uploading data to the PDMP, please contact NeHII at the following email address - pdmp@nehii.org or call (402) 506-9900.
